1-Year Blogiversary!


Happy 1-Year Blogiversary to Kids Heart Real Food! (and yes, this is a word according to urban dictionary.)

I can’t believe it’s been a full year since I took the plunge and decided to start this blog.  Kids Heart Real Food started as a labour of love and an outlet for all the things I learned in nutrition school.  I quickly realized that talking about kids, food and nutrition is my passion and that there are many, many moms (and dads!) out there interested in talking about how to raise their kids to love and appreciate Real Food.   It will continue  to compliment my nutrition business as I specialize in kids’ nutrition and real food education (business website coming soon!)

One of my favourite parts of writing this blog has been “meeting” (virtually in most cases) and chatting with parents from all over the world.   I wanted this blog to be a conversation, and it certainly has been.  As my readership grows, I hope to see this continue so that we can all learn from each other.  So, if you have never commented on a blog or Facebook post, or emailed me with your opinion, I urge you to chime in and add to the conversation.

Lastly, a big thank-you to all of you who have read the blog and supported my passion over the last year.  You have continued to inspire me to pursue a career in this field.  Without my readers, the blog would not be where it is today.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Emma will be starting solids in only a month (YIKES! Where has the time gone??) so it will mean even more to us over the coming years as we learn and struggle with what to feed our little girl.
